A part of the Toronto-based Four Seasons luxury hotels and resorts, the Four Seasons Hotel in Mumbai is a five-star, 37-storey auberge, located in Worli with 202 guest rooms and offers India’s highest rooftop bar, Aer, till date.
The open-air lounge called Aer on the 34-th floor is one of the most gregarious and intensive spots for people ever since its existence in 2008, when Four Seasons was finally completed and launched. Be it a destination for a casual hangout, watering hole, romantic meeting, personal celebration or just a getaway—Aer is perfect. It overlooks the Marine Drive and the whole city of Mumbai. It is simply amazing and the perfect place to enjoy a sunset with a drink or a cocktail. The ambience is mind-blowing and needless of any explanation. The food is very good and the whole experience leaves an immortal memory! The music is mostly fusion, concocted by a DJ.
The next in the line would be Café Prato. It is dressed in exclusionary fusion of Indo-European style with a tinge from the Mughal era found in the use of brocade art work in plenty as well. It is a good place for short business meetings for breakfast or lunch and since it is open 24hrs, you can actually even step in for an after drinks snack! There is quite some variety of food available and unique ones like Seared Squid with Tabouleh and Avocado Mousse, then Penne Gorgonzola with Candied walnuts and rocket, an evergreen favourite—Roasted Portabello Mushrooms with Grilled Haloumi Cheese and Pesto Mayo and many others. Here, you’ll not regret the bucks spent!
The third, swank, exclusive restaurant is San-Qi, with walls made of glass bottles and martini glasses—an interactive cockatoo for the mind of aesthetic senses! It has an extraordinary wine collection to compliment you with their most popular dishes—Enoki Mushrooms, Asparagus Tempura, Sushi Crunchy, Veg Sushi, Pacific Sashimi, Salmon Avocado Maki rolls, Bang bang spicy chicken salad, Gyoza pan-fried dumplings (mushroom/chicken) among many others! You must not forget their black sesame crème brulée with fried sesame balls and Paan ice cream. Buffets have a whole new definition here, you must visit to know! The restaurant hubs around the bar and is done up with a lot of wood work, verdant greens, spotlights and has split floor levels. It is beautiful and highly recommended if you’re looking for a twist of taste on your birthday or anniversary!
